This is made of resin and blue dye. This cover not only protects your lighter from scratches and dings, but it also makes is easier to grip and hold to use the lighter. If you are like me, my hands don’t grip small things that well, so this works great for that alone for lighting candles, kerosene lanterns or heaters and many other things. You should always keep a lighter handy when electricity goes out due to storms and great to have out camping. This would make a nice little gift for family, friends and co-workers. Outside dimensions measures approximately 3 and 1/4 inches tall (at tallest point), 1 and 3/8 inches wide and 1 inch deep. Inside dimensions are the same measurements as a Bic lighter.
