My name is Brenda, I am a retired senior, I live in the United States (and have all my life), and I work out of my home making homemade items and I have been making handmade items for many years. In the past I have given them away to family and friends. Many have told me that I should sell my products, so here I am.
I am a caregiver for my soon to be 94-year-old dad, who has dementia. Seeing and knowing that there are so many of our elders that don’t have family to help or they are unable to help, I donate 10% of all profits to Meals on Wheels. As Christians, we are told to help the elderly – this is just one small way to do that.
I married my husband over 30 years ago and we blended our families – he had 3 children and I had 3 children from previous marriages, which all of them were pretty much grown when we married, except for my youngest daughter. I have always said that we are like “The Brady Bunch” LOL. I am a Christian and was saved many years ago when I was very young (around 7). I remember that day as if it was yesterday and have loved the Lord all my life. God has been a huge part of my life all through the years. I would not be where I am today without Him in my life.
I have always taken pride in my work, including my hobbies and things I make. I want others to enjoy the things I make and maybe put a smile on their face. Each item is handmade, unique and one of a kind. Most you will not find elsewhere. I add new homemade items from time to time so please visit often.
I own and operate a very small family business. The items I make are priced as low as possible and my hope is that you find something you like for yourself or to give as a gift to a loved one, and that you will spread the word to others about my site. Word of mouth is the best advertisement, and I truly appreciate those who tell others about my site. Social media is a great way to do that too, so please keep that in mind as well.
There are some items on this site that are not homemade. I purchased these items (most are sterling silver jewelry items) from a vender at huge discounts, and I am passing those savings on to you. These are close-out items, I have a very limited supply and when they are gone, they are gone for good.
PLEASE NOTE: You might think that some of the items on this website are pricy, however, I have a lot of money and time invested in these handmade items and many of them take a lot of time to make (curing time, hand painting, assembly, packaging, etc.), besides the cost of the molds, resin, UV curing lamps, paint, tools and shipping costs. I am making very little considering all the costs and time involved. I just want others to enjoy the things I make and maybe put a smile on your face, and don’t forget, I give 10% of all profits to Meals on Wheels.
